Assalam Aleikum ICCI Community,
It is my pleasure to continue to serve you as the full-time school principal this year! This is my fourth year in educational leadership. Prior to becoming the principal, I was the Arabic teacher at the ICCI Academy for fourteen years, as well as the Dean. I pursued many leadership experiences throughout my career including teaching at the Sunday school, and having the honor to become the principal there. I worked with Dar Alhuda as a coordinator for the Arabic curriculum, I also taught for UNRWA in Jordan prior to coming to America. Even with these amazing experiences, I will always be a teacher at heart.
My educational background includes a Bachelor in Arabic and Islamic Studies including methods of teaching. I’m in the process of finishing my masters in bilingual studies. By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning.
I am blessed to be the mother of two children. I have the same expectations for them as I do your children, who I love as if they are my own. I want to see them excel and become productive human beings, who have the opportunity to become anything they want in the future,
It is my privilege to lead the ICCI Academy and the many talented teachers and students here! My goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and Islamic culture at the ICCI that is conducive to teaching and learning. By doing so, each student and teacher can experience growth…. I look forward to interacting with our community this year!
